Summer is here!

Well not yet technically speaking but the kids are out of school so let the fun begin. I wake up the question "when can we go swimming?" and "can you put the slip n slide out" every morning and then I have to explain that we have to wait a couple hours for it to warm up, but they would do it at 8am if I let them :)

If you placed an order for the Breeze collection, then you have either received it already or it is in the mail. What a relief to get all of your goodies out to you and everything really looks great!
I cannot believe it all went over so smoothly and cannot thank you all enough!

On another note, the etsy shop is fully stocked with items I have left and the best part is they are all ready to ship - no waiting! I will add some ruffle shorts in later next week pending some exchanges. I will also add some tank dresses back in once they are made.

We had school parties this week on top of all the shipping and sewing I finished.
And I am now a Mother to a Second grader. This is her official 2nd Grader pose lol.

Self Redemption

Well I am in for a long and busy weekend. All of the items arrived from the manufacturer and I am finishing up a few last pieces to go along.

Everything has went pretty smooth so far and I cannot wait for everyone to get their goodies! I sent out the first mailing this morning and will follow with another on Tuesday and Wednesday if needed.

I have to be honest, it was a bit overwhelming when I got it all out of the boxes and neatly stacked. I took a step back and thought "whoa". I have went over each item, piece by piece to be sure that it is just so.

I hope you all have a wonderful Memorial weekend with family and friends! Don't overindulge and eat too much as I already have today and be sure to grab the sunscreen.

In the Air Tonight

Yep that is my theme this week. If you were a child of the 80's you may know of a singer by the name of Phil Collins. One of his songs "In the Air Tonight" is a fav of mine and I am not a big fan of 80's music. But something about this song just gets me going and I could work all night long listening to it and a couple of energy drinks.

I will have all of the items from the manufacturer this Friday - love grin :) - and that means I will be busy this weekend sorting it all out so I can get it to all of you asap. I still have a few tank dresses and things to finish up on my end but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you to all of you for your patience through this new process and all of your support - I cannot tell you enough how much I appreciate it!

I have a web page being designed as we speak. It should be finished in the next few weeks and it will be shoppable with some of the Summer collection and possibly some one of a kind items as well. I will make a "transition" from etsy to my webpage and no longer sell on etsy.

I have some new sweet little LMN logo tanks with a tropical flower printed on them as well. All made using organic inks which are great for the little ones. The tanks match the entire Summer collection. Send me an email if you are interested in one and already have an order coming from me for free shipping.

And for my new "twitter" badge on the left. Everyone keeps talkin about twitter. I really do not have time for another little "networking" site but I am going to give it a shot and not be so cranky. We will see how often I have time to get on here and "tweet", not that you need all the little gritty details of my life, I am sure you get enough of that on the blog.

Mother of all trades

This week I have been crazy busy...planning, sewing, packing, mothering, wifeing - not sure if this is a word but I use it all the time! We are nearing the end of the school year which means field day, parties, more parties and goodbyes.

I should have everything in my hands next Friday the 22nd, which means that if I work my heart out over the holiday weekend, I should be able to send it out on Tuesday the 26th - fingers crossed!

I hope to be able to offer a sweet logo girls tank soon too so be sure to check back!

I will also be making a big announcement in the next couple weeks. Something I have poured my heart into and have spent alot of time thinking about, it will be good.

Mum's the Word

I have officially been informed by my 6 yr old that I am the World's Greatest Mom, yep that's me. But only because I occasionally take her on bike rides and to the local DQ, I get off easy :). Don't you just love those homemade cards with little notes written in them? They are the sweetest and full of love!

Happy Mother's Day ladies. Hope it is as special and wonderful as you! I wanted to also post this quote, I thought it had a lot of meaning as our little ones grow:

"Mother's hold their children's hands for only such a short while, but their hearts forever."

And the Winners are...

The winners of the Mother's Day skirt giveaway are post #12 Pinkerton and sweet Maria, a strong willed Mother.

True Random Number Generator Min: Max: Result: 12 Powered by RANDOM.ORG

Please email me at lovesmenot@comcast.net so I can get your flirty skirt in the works.

As for Maria, in my post below I wanted to "Pay it Forward" and help another Mother out by brightening her day a little bit more. She was diagnosed with leukemia in 1993 with only a 30% chance of survival. She was already feeling the affects when they finally diagnosed her. After several years, she became a survivor! Due to treatments. she was unable to have any children. Two weeks after September 11th, she brought home a baby boy from New Jersey to adopt.

November of 2008 Maria was diagnosed with breast cancer. I can only imagine how difficult that must have been. However, she has been successful to this day.

I think Maria's strength and fortitude can be an inspiration to all of us.

Business is moving along :). Jeri aka '"Jeremy" to my 3 year old, put it this way" It is almost like you are getting ready to have a baby". Yes indeed. Lots of planning and getting all my ducks in a row. I just love how 3 yr olds talk, it is the sweetest thing.

I have shipped out round 1 of some tank dresses with some little pretties attached, hope you like them.
